FAST.KTM – Capricorn Crossing Tour is an exciting, facilitated tour introducing riders and 4×4 enthusiasts to the Northern Province of Southern Africa along the Botswana border. We travel via the Soutpansberg Mountain range and into the game farm areas of Bela Bela in the Southern parts of Limpopo. The perfect opportunity to not only see and experience our beautiful country but also improve your riding skills and expand your network of like-minded people.

The 4 day/3-night expedition will start and end at FAST.KTM travel through NorthWest and Limpopo via some of the most beautiful game farm regions and off the track areas you may never have visited before.
Two guides and a support vehicle will accompany you over the 1825km expedition and Green, Orange and Red route GPS tracks will be provided to you for download onto your Garmin GPS’s or mobile App device. The Green & Orange routes are pillion friendly if riders are experienced and the lodge accommodation is both comfortable and welcoming. Enjoy an included breakfast and dinner to start and end your day of adventuring.
You can expect to be challenged and your riding skills are taken to the next level, but we guarantee an experience you’ll be talking about for long after the trip is over.
Registration, coffee, and a muffin at 07:00 am – clutch out at 07:30 am sharp. Travelling via Hartbeespoort Dam, Brits, and the Ben Albertsture Reserve, with a lunch stop just north of Thabazimbi. After lunch, we continue heading west through the Marakele National Park. Making our way further north riding alongside the DNyala Nature Reserve via Elliasras and Tom Burke situated on the Botswana border then onto the stunning setting of the Buffalo Thorn Safari Lodge where we guarantee you a dining experience of a lifetime.
Breakfast at 7.30 am – clutch out at 8:15 am sharp. Our route today takes us alongside the Botswana border passing the border post of Platjan, through true South African bushveld regions. Transversing around the Soutpansberg mountain range we head towards the old town of Alldays for our lunch stop where we can refuel. Following lunch, we continue through the Waterpoort area and travel up the mountain range and end the day at our lodge with the views overlooking Louis Trichardt.
Breakfast is at 7:30am – departing at 8:15am sharp. Heaps of exciting mileage to cover today. From Louis Trichardt, we ride towards the Letsitele farming region passing the beautiful plantations of avo and peacan nuts famous in this region of Levubu and Giyani. Lunch is at the Letabo junction right on the banks of the spectacular Letabo River. The route after lunch is into the mountain passes of the Magoeboskloof area through exhilarating winding roads via the back of the Edenezer Dam. Our day ends at a comfortable lodge in the Magoesboskloof Mountain area.
Breakfast is at 7:30 am – departing at 8:15 am sharp. After breakfast today we head out into the Woodbush Forest Reserve towards the exquisite Debegeni Falls and Rock Pools, exiting the area via the Dap Naude Dam passing through the small town of Haenentsburg where we will stop for refreshments and fuel. We travel on through the rural areas of the Zion Christian Church region of the South Eastern parts of Polokwane through farming areas towards Bronkhorstspruit and ultimately onto Johannesburg.
